Nobody wants their city to win this award. Data from the places where Orkin did the most bed bug treatments from December 1, 2020 to November 30, 2021 was used to construct a list of the 50 most populous cities in the United States with the greatest bed bug infestations. What’s the worst infestation of bedbugs?

This is Chicago’s second consecutive year as number one on Orkin’s list. The Windy City appears to be a hotbed for bedbugs. Philadelphia leaps 12 places to take the second spot. The Big Apple, which rose nine spots from last year to finish third, rounds out the top three. Orkin’s top ten cities for 2022 are as follows:

Baltimore dropped three spots and Washington, D.C. dropped four spots in the rankings compared to last year. This year’s tenth-place finishers are Grand Rapids, Michigan (now ranked No. 11) and Los Angeles, California (now ranked No. 12). (now at number 12).
